LIGHT A FIRE IN ME is an independent feature film set in downtown Honolulu. Our project is actively seeking backers to help us get through production and bring this story to life.
SYNOPSIS
Memories of a man’s toxic ex-lover begin to infect his mind, leaving him sleepless & obsessed. His current girlfriend takes notice of his deteriorating mental state. Jealousy, insecurity, & paranoia manifest within her and grow into her own dangerous obsession with the ex-lover.
Full of suspense and unpredictability, LIGHT A FIRE IN ME takes audiences through the streets of Honolulu and through the tormented mind of an insomniac.
For those living in Hawaii, they’ll see many of the landmarks that they drive by and see on a daily basis up on the big screen.
We hope that people finish watching this picture and are excited about the future of films coming out of Hawaii.
It is our mission to tell an entertaining story that gives people an enjoyable experience- first and foremost.
We have a larger mission of injecting some life into the film industry of Hawaii from the inside. We want to create positive momentum & take some power and put it in the hands of filmmakers making movies in Hawaii.
Hawaii has the infrastructure to make it’s own films, distribute them, and give people a reason to go to the theaters.
